Radium Engineering Fuel Filter Kit Microglass 6 Micron Mazda MX-5 89-05

Radium Engineering Mazda MX5 fuel filter kit is an OEM fuel filter replacement. Because this filter is larger and less restrictive than the OEM Mazda filter, there is less stress put on the fuel pump. Lower pre filter pressures permit less current draw and thus lower fuel temperatures. This phenomenon permits an increase in fuel flow. NOTE: The filters can withstand alternate fuels such as methanol, ethanol, E85, etc


COMPATIBILITY
89-97 Mazda MX-5 (NA)
99-05 Mazda MX-5 (NB)
The factory Mazda fuel filter is plumbed between the fuel pump and the fuel rail. It is located just to the inside of the RH rear tire. The NA chassis uses barbed fittings and the NB chassis uses SAE quick connect fittings. Both variations are provided (2 fittings will not be used). A Mazda MX-5 NB1 install is shown below, however, the NA chassis is similar.
This is a quick install with no cutting or drilling required. Typical tools is all that is needed.
