Blocks off the factory brake cooling ducts to improve aerodynamic balance on the C8 Stingray. When upgraded brakes with greater thermal capacity are fitted, the factory ducts can become unnecessary. Blocking them increases the concentration of high-pressure air at the front bumper duct area while maintaining low pressure at the leading edge of the nose and under the splitter.
On a vehicle equipped with the Verus Engineering Ventus 3 package, testing showed a 4% increase in total downforce, a 0.8% reduction in drag, and a 5% increase in front aero balance.
